Eyes closed, arms folded inward — a gesture of quiet strength.

This figure was handbuilt in Sejnane using traditional methods: no wheel, no mold. Just memory, earth, and fire.

Sejnane pottery, a traditional craft from Tunisia, is made using a unique and fascinating process. It starts with the gathering of locally sourced clay, which is then mixed with water to create a workable consistency.  The pottery is molded into various forms like bowls, vases, and plates, with intricate patterns and designs often added by etching or carving the surface.
